I just received a call that I let slip by, and when I tried returning the favour, it wouldn’t even ring! It simply dropped off the radar without so much as a dial tone. Oh, what fun! I can only assume they're probing to see if my number is active. Looks like I'm in for a delightful parade of spam and scam callers soon enough. What a lovely prospect! :-(

I've received a call from a supposed TalkTalk representative urging me to renew my phone service. Oddly, I can't return their call, and the email they dispatched doesn’t even mention TalkTalk in the address. They’re asking for personal details. After checking directly with TalkTalk, it turns out their number isn't affiliated with them at all. This strikes me as a scam or something equally dubious, like XLM aimed at small businesses. Exercise caution!
