They’ve been calling me nonstop, like really early in the morning and super late at night on both my mobiles. They kept saying something about a bank I've never come across before, and the people on the line didn’t sound English at all, made it hard to get what's going on. Vanquis have been driving me mad with the constant calls, getting two or three every single day. It kicked off right around the time I was checking out car deals and looking into loans and insurance stuff. I don’t owe anything, no missed payments or mortgage. I’m signed up with the telephone preference service and have a call blocker, but they just ring from new numbers all the time. This has been going on for about a month now, and they never leave a voicemail. I just ignore any number I don’t know.

Just like Ian, I’m getting the same annoying calls. I missed a payment and got a message saying my lifeline was activated, but since then, they’ve been blowing up my phone non-stop - both my mobile and landline ring dozens of times every day. I work remotely and it’s absolutely maddening having my landline going off all the time, especially when I’m in meetings or calls with clients! I've tried explaining over and over that I ain't him and I don’t know where that address is, but they keep saying they won’t call again and then sure enough, they’re on the phone the next day. Even tho I’ve got Payment Protection and told them I use a LifeLine for late payments, they keep ringing me at like 7.45 in the morning sometimes. I’m seriously thinking about stopping the Payment Protection now. I’ve only had to use the LifeLine once in three years, so it doesn’t seem worth paying for every month. Vanquist have been my account holder for about 2 years now. I missed my direct debit by a couple days the past two months but I did manage to pay soon after. Since then, they keep ringing me from all sorts of numbers all over the country, usually 3 or 4 times daily on my mobile. Even worse, I get calls on my landline as late as 9pm, which wakes up my little girl. It’s gotten so bad that I’ve just had to unplug my phone completely. I don’t get why they’re so aggressive given that I do pay every month - even if a bit late - and I never argue about the fees or anything.
