Got a dodgy call the other day, someone claiming to be from Binance but it was totally a scam. Be careful out there!

Got a dodgy message asking to log into a Binance account I don't even own. Totally fake, probably a scam.

Got a weird text from 62884 saying "binance verification code: 392468 to link ledger live. If that wasnt you, call support at 01133100149." Definitely seems like a scam, so watch out!

Just a heads up, I’ve been getting loads of Binance verification texts from 01133100149 non stop. At one point they even told me my phone number had been switched on Binance, which is rubbish. Definitely avoid replying, it’s all spam. I’ve reported it to BT as well.

SCAM ALERT. Got a call pretending to be from Binance, saying some foreigner tried to get into my account and even asked for a login to check my balance. Obviously a load of rubbish. I’m not falling for that nonsense, they picked the wrong person to mess with!

Watch out for those Binance code scams! They ring up, give you some code, then tell you to ring them back. Don’t fall for it - it’s just a waste of time. Really happy I checked this site first, saved me from getting caught up in it.

So, my dad got an email supposedly from 'Binance' with this number on it, but he never actually made any call or anything. Seems a bit fishy to me.

Just got a message from Binance with a verification code to link LEDGER LIVE. I never asked for this tho. If you didn’t request it either, you might want to call their support on 0113 310 0149. Seems a bit fishy!

Watch out for Binance fraud calls! It's super risky, best to just end the call right away.

Got a couple of calls from this number, both times a person saying they were from EE. The first time, they told me they could help me cut costs on my tariff, even if I wasn't actually with EE. I asked them to stop calling and take me off their list, but the next time, the caller just swore at me and hung up. Proper rude!

I answered a call that just dropped as soon as I picked up. The number showed a Leeds area code but the call was actually coming from outside the UK. It's definitely a scam. If you see any UK area code or mobile number starting with +44, keep in mind it might be from abroad unless it’s a mate ringing from their UK SIM while overseas (like +447xxxxxxx). Otherwise, it's likely a dodgy call and best to just let it ring out.

I've been getting calls from some dodgy characters claiming to represent a trading platform, but once you engage in a chat, it’s like opening the floodgates to a barrage of calls all trying to pry your card details from you. Definitely a warning to keep your wits about you!

Yet another dodgy call from what I can only assume is a spam operation! They were nattering on about how I might qualify for all sorts of benefits, and honestly, it felt like time was slipping away. It really makes you wonder how they manage to keep pestering folks in this manner!

I reside in Norway and haven't a clue about anyone from Leeds. What baffles me is why they continually anticipate my response. It’s rather irritating, to be honest, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number.

I couldn’t agree more! This system that enables individuals to set up numbers solely for monetary gains at the expense of others really ought to be put to a halt. It feels like an outright invitation for unscrupulous characters to fleece unsuspecting individuals.

I received a call that claimed it was regarding an urgent matter concerning my pension payments. They instructed me to press 5 for further details, but I chose not to engage. The caller had a distinct Geordie accent, which struck me as rather odd. As I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service, it's puzzling to receive such calls in the first place.

Received a call today from someone claiming that since I'm 60 or younger (which I'm not, by the way), I'm eligible for a £1,000 pension. They insisted I needed to act immediately. I ended the call quite promptly-let's face it, nothing comes without a catch these days. I’m signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, so how on earth are these calls still getting through?

I received a rather curious phone call from this number earlier. An automated voice, clearly with a Newcastle twang, informed me that I was eligible for a £1000 bonus pension payout. All I needed to do was press 5 to get the ball rolling or 9 to opt out if I had already begun the process. Naturally, I refrained from pushing any buttons and then the line went silent. I find it amusing that it costs them to ring me, so I prefer to let them drivel on without reacting at all... I’d recommend everyone to adopt the same strategy, and hopefully, they’ll eventually tire of trying!
