Indeed, we found ourselves in possession of one of those rings-no idea what possessed us to get it, though!

I’ve received a text on my work number saying, 'This is an important message for (blank), I must speak with you today, please call and reference xxxxxx.' If this was truly urgent, you’d think they would have bothered to include a name, wouldn’t you?

It's becoming rather tiresome, to be honest. We keep getting messages and phone calls meant for someone named Melanine or Catherine Williams. I can assure you, we are not associated with either of them! We've only had this phone number for about five weeks now, so one would think it would be clear by now. The persistent annoyance from these callers is really grating, and despite us attempting to reach out via email to clarify that this number is no longer theirs, it seems our messages are falling on deaf ears!

Who on earth are these individuals, and what kind of policies do they adhere to? Their ethics seem quite questionable! They've started bombarding me with text messages and phone calls, and I’m still left scratching my head about what their motives are. We always settle our bills on time, and we clearly understand our monthly financial obligations - the funds are typically available. Whenever we’ve found ourselves in a bit of a financial bind, we've reached a fair solution and have consistently adhered to it. As far as I’m concerned, we don’t owe a penny to anyone! So why do these folks persist in hounding us over debts that have already been cleared?

We've been receiving calls and text messages from this number incessantly, yet we can't seem to identify who it belongs to. Having just moved in, we're baffled as to who might have our new contact details at this point.

We’ve had a chat with this particular bunch. After we found ourselves in a spot of bother financially post-job loss, these folks reached out to us regarding some outstanding debt we accrued with Kays catalogue. To our surprise, they were quite supportive and helped us establish a plan to get things back on track. The person we dealt with provided all necessary details, which put our minds at ease about the authenticity of their claims. Nonetheless, I do tend to be quite cautious with these types of calls and messages, as there seems to be an overwhelming number of scams doing the rounds at the moment.

I recently found myself in quite the similar situation. I received a text message containing a reference number directed at my landline. When I phoned them back, they attempted to fish for my name. I made it clear that I wasn't about to divulge that information until they revealed exactly who they were seeking. It turns out they were after the former tenant of my flat. After I passed on her current details to them, it seemed to work out nicely. They assured me that they'd remove my number from their records, so all’s well that ends well, I suppose!

I received a text from this number and felt it was best to give them a call immediately. They seemed to be searching for someone else entirely. Interestingly, we've been inundated with calls from a different number also trying to reach the same individual-on some days, it's been up to ten times!

Some time back, we found ourselves tangled in a bit of financial bother. Recently, however, we've received a new mobile phone. Earlier today, we got a text message addressed to us, prompting us to ring them back and citing a reference number. It’s quite puzzling-how on earth did they manage to get hold of our mobile number?

I’ve just had one of those rather unpleasant phone calls. It appears these individuals are now targeting businesses in an effort to reach employees regarding debt collection, all while they’re on the job. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour; one would think they’d have more decency. You ought to feel a bit embarrassed!

I received a rather curious text that read: "Mr Hossain A Zakaria, it is imperative that I speak with you today. Please call The Lowell Group on 01133086108 and mention reference 92905998." However, I'm not Mr Hossain, and frankly, I’m baffled as to how these individuals got hold of my number. I'm in the process of contacting my mobile provider to put a stop to this nonsense. If you happen to return their call, you could unwittingly give them access to a multitude of your personal information. Best to steer clear of it entirely!

I receive calls and messages from this particular number almost every day, and it's driving me crazy! The messages include a reference number and urge me to contact them immediately. However, after hearing about other people's encounters with them, I have no plans to call them anytime soon!

I received an identical phone call earlier today. I promptly dialed back and provided the reference number, while inquiring about the purpose of the call. Prior to proceeding, they informed me that they need to verify my identity through some security questions. However, I declined to participate unless they could clearly explain the reason behind their call. Finally, I managed to obtain information regarding the specific security questions they intended to ask: my name, address, post code, and date of birth. Astonishingly, the call concluded within a mere 3 minutes. It seems probable that they profited from the duration of the call itself.

Received a message at work earlier today from some folks claiming they had tried to reach us the other day (what with it being a bank holiday on Monday!). We're definitely not inclined to ring them back since we've no idea what they were after. But seriously, how on earth did they even get hold of our work number? It's all a bit bewildering!

I keep receiving reminders about debits for an individual named Mrs. Kendal. Instead of being contacted by phone, they send me text messages, which is quite annoying. The latest reminder is stating that they need to speak to me today, specifically to Mrs. Kendal. Additionally, they’ve provided a number (01133086108) for me to call, along with a reference number. It's really frustrating since I am not Mrs. Kendal at all!

I keep receiving text messages on my mobile from an unknown individual who claims it is crucial to contact someone named Lowell. It's quite bothersome, and I have no intention of responding to it. Since no one else has access to my phone, the company shouldn't expect any replies either. I am aware that this number has been harassing others with similar nuisance calls, so I would like to report it officially.

A few messages have been received with the following content: -
Dear Miss Nanette Priesley, it is imperative that we have a conversation with you today. Please call Lowell at 01133086108 and mention the provided reference... (the reference code varies with each message)
Attempts to reply informing them of the incorrect number have failed, as the message cannot be delivered.

Absolutely! This firm goes by the name of Lowell, and their modus operandi involves purchasing outstanding or settled debts, subsequently pursuing the individual to whom the debt is assigned! Avoid calling them back or divulging any details whatsoever- refraining from even disclosing your name is paramount. They’re known to operate from several numbers, including: 01133086108, 01132856550, 01133086000, 07891672094, 01133086119, 01153308600, 08450260093. This has been confirmed by the BBC's Watchdog, so take heed!

I am continuously receiving messages urging me to call Lowell with a reference number. I did call them to indicate that they are searching in the wrong place and requested them to cease contacting my phone, given that they are a debt collection company call center. They assured me that they won't reach out to my phone again. As expected, however, I received the very same message the following day. It's quite amusing how foolish they are.

I have recently received a message from an unknown number signed by the name LOWELL. I am completely unaware of who or what they are, and I refuse to waste my time inquiring about it by making a call. I kindly request that they cease all communication with me and remove my details. I strongly suspect that this could be yet another scam attempt.

As the great Jake Blues once said, it seems like you’re really in a tricky situation, don’t you think? Ignoring the issue won’t get you anywhere. It might have been wiser not to settle that bill and to reach out to a solicitor through Citizens Advice instead. It’s rather odd that five years have passed without any action; usually, bailiffs would have made an appearance by now. We highly recommend that you visit Citizens Advice as soon as you can and seek some legal guidance. Plenty of solicitors offer an initial consultation for a small fee, so it’s definitely worth exploring your options!

I received an intriguing message from some folks stating: "Mr Hossain A Zakaria, it is imperative that we speak with you today. Please contact The Lowell Group at 01133086108 and mention reference 92905998." First off, we’re not Mr Hossain, and quite frankly, I've no idea how they've got my number! I'm currently reaching out to my mobile service provider to have this sorted and to ensure they can’t bother me again. This feels like a classic scam - as soon as you ring them back, they could potentially access loads of your personal information through your own phone. Honestly, steer clear of it!

We receive multiple calls from this number every day; however, they are intended for a person we have never heard of and who has never resided in our house during the 33 years we have lived here. These callers leave urgent messages, insisting that we return their call on the same day, but they read out the reference number so fast that it is impossible to jot it down. If this matter were truly important and legitimate, they would contact us directly instead of leaving a message every time. It is high time that these calls and the people responsible for them were put to an end.

I can't express how appalled we are that this number reached out to a former workplace of ours. It was infuriating to hear from the staff there instead of receiving a simple email or message directly. Quite honestly, it’s rather unprofessional.

Why has no action been taken regarding this particular number? It has now become a persistent nuisance call. Over the past few weeks, we have been receiving multiple calls from this number, sometimes several times in quick succession. Not only our household but also our friends and relatives in the area have been incessantly bombarded with frustrating calls, intended for various individuals. The only solution offered by BT was to purchase a telephone that claims to block such calls. To which competent authority should we direct our complaint about this issue?

We recently had a conversation with this organisation, as we found ourselves in a spot of bother with debt after losing our jobs. They’ve been calling us regarding an outstanding payment linked to Kays catalogue, and I must say, we found their assistance quite commendable. We’ve managed to put an agreement in place to tackle our financial situation. The person we spoke to provided all the necessary details, which helped us feel it was all above board. Nonetheless, I can’t help but feel a tad cautious about these types of calls and messages at the moment, given the sheer number of scams that seem to be circulating.

I moved into a rented accommodation last December and got the Virgin package installed, which also included a new landline number. Unfortunately, for the past three weeks, I have been receiving text messages on my landline twice a day from a company requesting Mrs. Hussein to call back urgently. Even though I spoke to a person once who promised to stop the calls, they have continued. It looks like I might have to ask Virgin to change my number.
