I got a call from someone named Alima in Lowell, she wanted me to update my payment plan and kept asking about my monthly earnings and expenses. I told her I’d just sort it out on the app, which I did. But then she rang again and asked the same questions, even though I’d already said I’d updated everything online. It was pretty frustrating because she wouldn’t stop asking about my income.

We got calls from Lowell Debt Finance, which is an older debt agency. The debt came from O2 but they've got accounts from other firms as well. They were just trying to confirm some details with us - defo not a scam.

got a call from jack in lowell, such a nice bloke. he really took the time to hear us out and then slashed our debt from £166 down to £40. with everything going on with coronavirus, he even said we don’t have to begin payments till january. honestly, really nice to chat with someone like that. absolute legend.

Lowell debt collectors are the worst, I’d say just don’t pick up and block them straight away. Wish you all the best with dealing with them!

I received a rather peculiar request for our address from these individuals. When I inquired about their identity, they replied, “I can’t tell you who I am unless you verify your address first!” Quite odd, really. They don’t seem to have any details about us at all.

Gave me a ring, didn't utter a word, then just hung up. This has happened multiple times now, and it’s really starting to get quite bothersome!

We've been getting calls from this lot repeatedly throughout the month, all in search of a certain Emma Wilson. We've made it clear each time that she doesn’t reside here and never has. Oddly enough, they always seem to appreciate our responses, yet a few weeks down the line, the phone rings again! It’s beyond frustrating!

Hello there! We’ve been getting several calls from this number, and they appear to be searching for someone else. I’m rather intrigued to know who these callers actually are. I've heard suggestions that they could be linked to a credit card company, but it’s becoming rather bothersome. Any insights would be appreciated. Cheers!

Had the same experience as the previous commenter. A bloke rang me asking for the first line of our address. I hesitated and simply said "err, number, bye now." He rang back right away, and this time a woman was on the line, sounding a lot more insistent. She insisted she had a private issue to discuss. I told her we had absolutely nothing private to talk about. Hung up promptly. It was rather unsettling, if I'm honest.

I've received multiple texts asking for a chap named Paul Beattie to give them a ring. I didn’t reply, and now these folks have started calling our number. What a nuisance! Honestly, I’ll just continue to ignore the calls. It all feels rather shady to me.

We've been receiving random calls from this number since November. They always seem to ring just as I'm heading into work, so we usually let it ring out. However, this month they've ramped it up to two calls a day, and we finally decided to answer one today. A girl on the other end asked, 'Is this Linda Lane?' to which we cheekily responded, 'Does this sound like Linda Lane?' She then inquired when Linda would be around, and we told her she wasn’t here. That was the end of the call. We're left scratching our heads - who on earth is Linda Lane? We're utterly baffled!

Received a call earlier today while I was at the office. Tried to get back to them, but as soon as I did, someone picked up and immediately put me on hold, so I gave up and disconnected!

I’m on the hunt for the address and postcode of someone who’s relocated to the States but still maintains a bank account here. Unfortunately, when I asked for this info, I was met with quite a dismissive response.

This number has contacted me a couple of times now, so I decided to return the call earlier today. When I got through, the person who answered was rather evasive about the reason for their call. They requested some of our personal information but then placed me on hold without offering any clarity. In the end, we chose to hang up. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

I called regarding my ex-wife and was told she’s no longer at that number. I asked where to send some correspondence but the person abruptly hung up. When I tried reaching out again, they claimed they had no details about my address, so couldn’t provide any information about her. It's quite unsettling to think that someone out there has our phone number and access to information about my ex.

It's quite amusing, really! Every time these chaps get in touch, they're after some mysterious person I've never encountered. The moment I mention I've got no clue who they’re on about, they seem utterly baffled! Honestly, I've picked up the phone a good twenty times just to hang up straight away after their relentless calls. It's all a bit ridiculous, if you ask me!

We've been inundated with these timewasters who keep ringing us only to hang up or push us to complete some ridiculous questionnaire that we absolutely refuse to do. It's all rather suspicious, so do yourself a favour and steer well clear of them!

Is there something amiss with you? Perhaps you've grappling with a multitude of personality quirks, or maybe it’s rooted in past trauma? Could it stem from experiences of bullying, abuse, or difficulties in your upbringing?

I've just blocked this number on our call list-absolutely refuse to give these folks a penny. The debts they acquire are typically nonsense as they’ve already been settled once sold. It’s all laid out in the Bill of Exchange Act, so just brush them off, they often back down eventually. They threaten court actions, but honestly, let them try! There are plenty of avenues to emerge victorious, so don’t let these companies intimidate you!
