Here we go once more. Even after taking a break for a few weeks, these lot clearly have no respect for cold call rules or the numbers on the TPS register. Honestly, they could do with a reminder about what's acceptable in their line of work.

Skye Direct’s directors - Gary John Coppin, Elliott Horn and Paul Andrew Swords - seriously need to sort their act out. First off, make sure you check the TPS list. Then, see if your call info is actually up to date. If it’s not, just don’t bother ringing our company. And honestly, Joe really needs some proper training. His constant pestering is doing your company zero favours whatsoever.

I keep noticing loads of companies linked to these directors all have some version of ‘skye’ in their name, and quite a few are already closed down. The regulations around being a director here really need tightening up. It seems like they just set up a new company the next day without much hassle. Proper cowboy behaviour!

Got a call from Skye Direct and honestly, they were really pushy and quite rude. Apparently, they’re just doing cold calls without checking if the number’s on the TPS list, which is meant to block these kind of calls. Once I told them my number’s registered there, they should have stopped calling, but they didn’t. Feels like they’re working off very outdated info too, probably years old. Not impressed at all.

If you’re a director at Skye Direct, listen up. Since October 2021, the ICO has slapped 16 companies with fines totalling £1.45 million. A lot of these penalties came because these firms kept making unwanted marketing calls, even when people had signed up to the Telephone Preference Service to stop them. It’s a serious warning about ignoring TPS rules.

After about 20 seconds, when he can’t even figure out how to send a bloody introductory email, he goes totally mental - proper rude and aggressive. So this person said they were from some stationary business called Skye and claimed they were based in Sunderland, but it was a Leeds number showing up on my work phone. When I told them I wasn’t interested, they suddenly got really pushy and quite rude. I had to hang up because another call came through from an important client, but then they rang back straight away and actually accused me of lying. Had to cut the call again and now I’m working with our IT team to try and block their number. Proper annoying!
