Then they tried to pitch me other big projects, still not interested, but the bloke just kept chatting. Eventually, I had to firmly tell him I was ending the call.

It showed up as an International number on my phone but when I called back, I found the numbers were actually legit. Total scammers. I had an unexpected call from this number at precisely 11:14 this morning, on the 17th of February, 2021. The gentleman on the other end, who identified himself as Chris, claimed to be the energy representative for my local area. He went on to reference me as the homeowner. Despite my explanation that I’m ex-directory, he kept rambling on about insulation solutions. I had to cut him off, pointing out that he ought not to be dialling an ex-directory number, and frankly, I wasn't interested in his pitch at all. He abruptly disconnected the call.
