Got a call this morning around 10:20 from a guy with an Indian accent, seemed like one of those cold call scams about road accidents. Managed to grab his number with 1471.

Didn't pick up 'cause the number looked dodgy. When I called back, there was this recorded message saying the number isn't recognised. Yeah, no surprise there - total scam.

Dont bother using 1471, its useless now cause these scammers just send random numbers. I reckon BT should step in and stop this, since they run the network after all. Its all just a traffic accident scam anyway.

I got a call from a woman who spoke really bad English claiming there’d been a car accident. When I tried calling back using the 1471 number they gave me, it just said the number wasn’t valid. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

Just got a call about some car crash scam, total nonsense. Glad I didn’t fall for it! Watch out folks, these calls are everywhere now.
