Got a call from a woman named Lisa, supposedly from some English claims firm, saying I'd get a cheque for £2600 as my PPI payout. She asked for a bunch of personal info, like my date of birth and other bits, claiming she needed it to send the cheque out. I told her I thought it was dodgy and likely a scam, and she just ended the call straight away.

I've already had three calls from this number today, and it's driving me mad. I'm disabled and struggle to get to the phone quick enough before it hangs up, only to discover there's no one actually there. So frustrating!

At about 1:25 this number rung me. I’ve got this BT call guard on my phone now, which tells callers to say who they are. But this one didn’t bother to say anything or leave any voicemail. So, I’m guessing it was just another scam call.

Got a call from some bloke named John Michael about my supposed PPI refund of £2,526. He asked for loads of personal stuff like my dob and bank info. Definitely a scam, do yourself a favour and just block them!

I got a call from someone saying they’d helped me get some PPI back, telling me there’s around £2800 waiting for me. They said I’d get it soon but would have to pay 40% in ‘bank fees’ unless I signed up for some life insurance deal. I just ended the call. Never heard of having to buy life insurance to dodge bank charges before, that’s a new one!

I think this number might be connected to some sort of identity fraud. Be careful if they call you!
