Blimey! Just a word of advice: steer clear of any numbers starting with 01132!

Received a call from 01132 848 561, claiming our phone contract was nearing its end and they were offering an upgrade. When we enquired about their identity, the caller mentioned they were from "Free Upgrades." We politely declined their offer, and to our surprise, the caller stated she’d cancel the upgrade we never wanted! Best of luck to you! Honestly, I’d steer clear of any numbers starting with 01132.

I've been getting calls from the number 0845122750, which seems to be associated with T-Mobile. After reaching out to T-Mobile on two separate occasions, those calls ceased for a while. However, just a few days later, they've started up again. It appears this was previously linked to Freeupgrades, and they always seem to get in touch just as your contract is about to expire. The information they provide is absolutely misleading, as I've only completed a third of my contract. I’m planning to lodge another complaint with both them and T-Mobile.

We've been bombarded by calls from this lot lately, but the moment we pick up, the line goes dead! I rang them back out of curiosity, and heard a pre-recorded message claiming to be from "Free Upgrades," offering all sorts of options like account inquiries and account creations. Honestly, it's frustrating! We've tried telling them to stop calling, but there's never a soul on the other end when we answer. They've officially been added to our reject list.

My sincerest apologies for the earlier message. I meant to mention the number 011584334900. I've noticed I've mistakenly commented on two separate numbers. The other one, 011328487561, has been incessantly calling my T-Mobile number daily for the last two weeks, but I've never answered. I'm quite aware of various scams that are going around.

As soon as I dialled the number, I was greeted with a message introducing me to ‘Free Upgrades’. It's the same company that’s been harassing me with calls-fifteen times in the last 48 hours from 01132848555! Just another one to add to my ever-growing list of rejected numbers!

You should definitely consider notifying the Information Commissioner's Office at 01625 545 745, as well as Ofcom on 0300 123 3333. Ofcom is currently investigating their actions regarding what they term 'the persistent misuse of telecommunications'.
