I usually don’t answer unknown numbers. I set my voicemail to say if you’re a real caller, leave a message after the beep. Since I started doing that, most people just hang up and don’t bother leaving anything.

This number rang me claiming to be from UK broadcasting. I told them to stop calling or I’d report them to Ofcom. Then I blocked them straight away.

Got a call claiming to be Sky but they messed up my name straight away, which was a big warning sign. I didn't bother giving mine, just told them if I wanted to speak with anyone I’d ring back. The voice had a pretty thick Asian accent, seemed dodgy to me, probably a scam.

Someone rang me up asking where my sky dish was, saying they needed to 'update their records'. When I asked why, they said a senior staff member would call me within a couple of days because I qualified for a special deal - apparently for folks over 40 but under 80. Honestly, it felt dodgy to me. Like most times, I had a hard time understanding the caller properly. I'm pretty sure it's some kind of scam.
