Got a call from a Leeds area code, and since I’m from Leeds, I thought it might be one of my mates calling. Answered it and a recorded message started saying something about Amazon Prime. Definitely a dodgy scam if you ask me. I’m not signed up for Amazon Prime, and hardly ever order from Amazon anyway. Why on earth would they be ringing me? From now on I’m gonna double-check every number that looks local before picking up. Turns out it wasn’t my friend after all. Watch out, folks!
