I got a call from this number yesterday saying something like "Your internet is being used illegally and it’s against the law." It was clear to me it was a scam, so I didn’t bother listening all the way. Then today, I rang the number back, and a recorded voice told me to leave my name and phone number. I just hung up straight away. Not long after, they rang me again with the exact same message about illegal internet use. It baffles me why the phone company can’t do something to block these scammers.

Got a call from this number earlier, some robot voice saying £500 was taken from my account with Amazon and eBay. They never used my name and I didn’t even reply. After they ended the call, I looked up the number and sure enough, it’s a scam. Honestly, these kinds of things just get ignored by the police and other officials, it’s frustrating.

I think it was one of those bank fraud calls trying to trick me.
