Got a call from someone saying they were from a parking permit company. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.

I got a call the other day from someone saying they were with BT Openreach, trying to tell me there was a problem with my internet. Sounded dodgy to me, so I didn't say much. Has anyone else had calls like this? Seems a bit suspicious to pretend to be from them.
