I received a rather suspicious call informing me that my credit card was set to be charged for an Amazon account, urging me to "press 9" if I believed this to be incorrect. Rather than engaging with the call, I opted to report it to my credit card's fraud team. This isn't the first time I've been contacted about my Amazon account-every time it's been a load of nonsense. However, this particular call was intriguing as it originated from a local number.
