Got a call from this number claiming they were Prudential. They wanted to talk to my husband, but I told them he wasn’t available. They insisted they’d sent him some paperwork, so I asked where exactly they’d posted it. They wouldn’t share the address, saying it was confidential. The person sounded convincing, shuffling papers like they were checking details. They tried to keep me chatting for a while. I told them I wouldn’t give out any info over the phone because there’s loads of scams going around. After the call, I looked up the number online and it turned out to be a scam. I reported it to BT and asked them to block the contact.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Prudential, asking for my missus. I told them she wasn’t about and then they wanted me to ring back on a different number but I wasn’t having any of it. Later, I got in touch with Prudential using their official number and they said they hadn’t tried to get hold of my wife at all. Pretty sure it was just a dodgy scam.

Got a call supposedly from Prudential asking for my late wife's ex-husband. Felt fishy right away since they had no clue who they were really trying to reach.

Someone called claiming to be from Barclays, asking for my bank info. It seemed dodgy right from the start. I looked into it and turns out they have no links to Barclays at all!

i keep gettin calls from this number lookin for some mr russell. ive told em there’s no one by that name here and to take us off their list. it’s been happening on and off for a few years now, sometimes even every day. really annoying!
