I had a rather dubious phone call from this number, claiming to be associated with Prudential. They insisted on speaking to my husband, which was quite impossible at that moment. When I mentioned we hadn't received any correspondence, they stated they had sent a letter but declined to disclose the address it was sent to. The caller maintained a very convincing demeanor, shuffling papers as if searching through records, and managed to keep me on the line for a fair bit. I firmly told them that I would not share any personal details over the phone given the alarming number of scams these days! A quick online search revealed it was indeed a scam. I've reported it to BT and requested that they block the number immediately.

Received a call purportedly from Prudential, asking to chat with my spouse. When I informed them she wasn't available, they requested I return the call on a different number, which I declined. I later contacted Prudential directly using the number we possess, and they confirmed there was no record of any attempt to reach my wife. Clearly, this is a scam!

Got a call supposedly from Prudential asking for my late wife's ex-husband. Felt fishy right away since they had no clue who they were really trying to reach.

when I answered, there was nothing but silence, no one speaking on the other end.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Barclays Bank, requesting my banking information. It struck me as rather dubious. Upon doing a bit of digging, I can confirm they're not affiliated with Barclays at all!

i keep gettin calls from this number lookin for some mr russell. ive told em there’s no one by that name here and to take us off their list. it’s been happening on and off for a few years now, sometimes even every day. really annoying!
