I got a call from this samsung number at 9:44am on a saturday but didn't pick up, it showed up as some telemarketer. after seeing what others said in the comments, i reckon i did the right thing by ignoring it. already blocked the number now.

got a call from a man with an indian accent, he left a voicemail asking for my name. after that, there was like a 5 second pause. then he just stayed quiet for ages, so eventually i got fed up and ended the call.

My Samsung Galaxy S9+ picked this up as a dodgy call, so I couldn’t resist firing off my 143db alarm right as the dude with the strong accent started talking. He kept fiddling with his phone buttons, probably trying to shut it down, but he binned it after about 21 seconds of what I hope was a proper racket in his ears. Top marks, Samsung - that’s how it’s done, lovely stuff.
