Got a call from a guy with an accent I didn’t recognise, saying he was ringing from BT, claiming I was due some refund because of problems with their system. He knew my last name, address, postcode and even the last 3 numbers of my landline, but wanted me to confirm some info. I told him no way was I giving anything away. Then he rudely told me to shut up and hung up on me. I haven’t been with BT in ages, and my daughter’s never been the one to pay the phone bill here. Strange call.
