My work phone rang but there was no voicemail left.

Got a call today pretending to be from Openreach. I quickly set him straight and he soon twigged he was wasting his time. Not the worst scammer I've dealt with, he was quite polite actually.

Got a call from some firm claiming to be connected with BT Openreach, saying I could get 40% off my phone bill. They wanted to send someone over to my place to chat about it. When I said it wasn’t a good time, they just ended the call. Feels like a dodgy scam to me.

Don't bother talking to them, total rip-off and really cheeky! Better to just put the phone down straight away!

Today this number rang me, but luckily my BT call guardian blocked it. I checked the caller by listening to the answer machine, but no one left a message. The call kept going so I ended up having to pull the phone socket out to make it stop.
