We decided to return the call shortly after the number rang off on our phone, and the folks on the other end claimed to represent Clydesdale Bank. They were asking for someone who clearly doesn't reside here. When we informed them of this fact, they seemed to insinuate that we were being dishonest. Now, that hardly aligns with the Clydesdale reputation, does it? While it could be legitimate, seeing as I’m not a customer of theirs, I can't verify it. My advice? Exercise caution when it comes to sharing personal information.

For the past six weeks, these absolute muppets have been ringing us, searching for someone we haven’t got the foggiest about. On Monday, we flat-out asked them not to bother us anymore. But lo and behold, they had the audacity to call again on Wednesday and, wouldn’t you know it, they graced us with another call on Thursday! What a complete nuisance!

Could anyone shed some light on who this might be?

I've been getting calls from these blokes for the past six weeks, always asking for someone we've never heard of. Just on Monday, we made it clear that we wanted them to stop calling us, yet they rang again on Wednesday and then again on Thursday. It's utterly ridiculous!

We've just spotted this number on our bank statement, but I can't seem to remember making a call to them. It mentions that the location was Leeds... odd, isn't it?

Received just a single ring from this number. A massive thanks to Jon MacLeod for clarifying the identity behind it. Since we don’t hold an account with any of the banks mentioned, we opted against returning the call. Cheers to you, John!

I received a rather unsettling phone call from the number 01132441922, purportedly regarding one of our daughters. The caller was a woman with an accent that seemed quite foreign, and she struggled to say our family name correctly. She claimed to be representing Clydesdale Bank and insisted that my daughter reach out to 01132441922 without delay. Quite concerning indeed!

It seems that National Australia Bank has been persistently ringing our mobile since 24th October 2009, attempting to reach a person named Emma Heaton, who we don’t know and who resides quite far away from us in a completely different region of the UK. Despite multiple attempts to inform them to stop calling, we've now received over 50 calls. This feels like harassment. What steps can we take to put an end to these calls once and for all?
