Total scam, these people are so rude. Just blocked the number straight away.

A lady called asking for someone named Andrew, I said she had the wrong number. When she asked for my name, I replied it was none of her concern. I told her to quit the cold calling, but she insisted she was just carrying out her job. I mentioned the number's listed on the TPS, but she seemed clueless about it and just kept saying she was doing her job. Eventually, she grumbled something like “oh God” and then ended the call.

Complete scam! They try to trick you by mentioning Openreach. When I questioned the woman on the phone, she got all flustered and even hung up rudely. Should definitely block these calls!!!!!!

Got another call from a young woman just a few days after the first one, and she was really impolite. This whole thing feels like a total con, so I wouldn’t bother engaging with them at all.

Got a call off someone saying they were from Open Reach, but the moment I asked if they worked for BT, they just ended the call straight away.

A young lady brought up BT and Openreach in conversation but, when I probed a bit further, she confessed she wasn’t affiliated with either company. Definitely dodgy behaviour!

Some one called claiming they were from BT and said if we didn’t give out our information, our phone line would be disconnected. It was really scary!

Had something like this happen just today (5/10/2017). Spoke to a woman who seemed a bit confused about the TPS. She said her registration had expired and needed renewing, then warned we'd be bombarded with calls. She also mentioned Openreach - trying to link herself to them, I guess, for better phone deals. Bit odd she didn’t bring up BT since everyone’s heard of them way more than Openreach. Won't be falling for any offers from unsolicited calls, no way.

What a pain. I just ended the call straight away. The lady said it was about Openreach or something, and when she started talking about saving me loads of money, I cut her off with a quick 'no thanks' and hung up. She called right back and started giving me a hard time, so I told her off (a bit harsher than that, actually). Then she warned me I’d be getting loads more calls from them in the future. Totally annoying!
