In the last 18 months, I've had two instances where Johnston Publishing, based in Leeds, reached out to me with offers to deliver the Gazette newspaper. Each time, a specific individual contacted me via mobile, and I ended up receiving the newspaper as promised. However, today (11/3/14), I've had a similar proposal from the same phone number. The caller requested my email address to confirm the details of the offer. Is this something to take seriously, or is it a potential scam? If it is indeed a scam, how might they be trying to pull this off?
