Got a call from some bloke yesterday, said he was an energy advisor for my neighbourhood. Sounded like one of those dodgy insulation scams to me. I ended the call straight away and blocked the number. Classic.

Got a call from this number about 09:40 today, but when I picked up all I heard was complete silence. Definitely blocking it now.

I just ignored the call and later decided to check the number on this site.

I picked up the phone and no one spoke, just silence for a few seconds before the call cut off. Honestly, what a waste of time...

This number, along with one close to it (01132286699), rang me earlier today but didn’t even attempt to get past my call blocker so the phone never even made a sound. From what I’ve seen in other reviews here, these are proper scammers. So, gotta say, my phone’s doing a cracking job! The BT Decor 2600 paired with trueCall was a bargain at around £24 from Currys - finally some peace and my missus is well pleased!

It’s Jo once more. Sounds like an older person to me. Best to just block the number.

Got a call from an unknown number at about 4:55pm, let it ring through to voicemail but they didn’t leave any message. Feels like it was one of those scammy calls.

About ten minutes ago, my landline rang and when I picked up and said "Hello", the caller just hung up straight away. For the last couple of years, I've often got calls from a lady in the UK trying to pitch loft insulation to me. I've told them every time that I live in an apartment with no loft whatsoever. No idea if this is connected to the same company though.

Apparently, they’re supposed to be surveyors for loft insulation or something like that. But even when I ask them nicely to take me off their list, they just don’t seem to care at all.

It came off as a complete scam... they were trying to sell me some inflatable boat or something.

I keep getting calls from someone claiming to be with an energy firm, calling Jo's phone lots of times every day. I've asked them repeatedly to take my number off their list since I’m already on the telephone preference service. They just won't stop ringing!

I didn’t pick up but decided to check the number afterwards and found out it was some sort of scam.

Got a call just a moment ago, picked up straight away but no one said a word, so I told them "If you don’t talk now, you’re getting blocked." Then they just cut me off. Felt like one of those scam calls trying their luck on loads of people. Decided to block the number. Looked it up here and turns out my instincts were spot on!

I'd say this is more of a pestering call than anything else. My phone went off and I barely managed to get up and shuffle to the answering machine, but the person on the other end had already hung up. I tried calling them back to let them know I wasn't happy, but their voicemail was full and wouldn't take any more messages.

Jo, who keeps ringing from some energy company, just won’t stop despite me telling her loads of times to take my details off their list. Honestly, I’d warn folks to steer clear of dealing with her. When I picked up this time, I stayed silent and she quickly ended the call. Fingers crossed she gets bored and stops calling, but I’m not holding my breath. On the bright side, every time she’s bothering me, maybe she’s not bothering someone else.

Got a call from someone saying they're from O2, but I don’t even have an O2 contract. Definitely sounds like a phone company scam.
