Got a missed call on my phone earlier today, but I have no clue why they were ringing me. Told them to buzz off! Already blocked and reported the number.

This number has rung me 3 times now, twice yesterday and once today, but every time I pick up, they just hang up straight away! Seems like spam to me. Think I should just block it?

When I picked up, there was silence for a few moments. Then suddenly a click like someone joined the call. A lady asked if I could put through our director using her first name. I told her he wasn’t around right now and she just hung up straight away. Pretty sure it was a spam call.

Got a voicemail from someone saying they were from Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs. They said if I didn’t ring back straight away I’d have to “face the consequences.” That’s not really the sort of message I’d think a gov department would leave on my phone. Plus, it’s weird that they didn’t even leave a number to call. The number showing up was blocked anyway. Very suspicious.
