I got a call supposedly from Virgin, claiming there was an issue with our broadband speeds. I told them we already had Virgin, and they insisted that was exactly why they were ringing. You could hear noise like a call centre behind them, but something felt off. When I asked for the account holder's name, they said ‘sure’ and then just cut the call. Definitely seemed like a scam to me.
