Got a call from some bloke claiming to be from Marks & Spencer, kept asking if I was older than 51. Felt like he was fishing info from the electoral roll or something. When I asked why he needed to know, he just said he wanted to speak to a "mature person" and avoided the question. I told him if he’s really from M&S, he should just send an email, since they’d have all my details anyway. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

They rang me about four times within half an hour, and when I finally picked up and told the bloke to quit calling, he just cut the line straight away.

Got a call from a Leeds number, but I seriously doubt it was really from there. It was one of those silent hang up calls again. They just keep ringing me, even though I’ve made it clear loads of times I won’t return the call unless I recognise the number or they bother leaving a message explaining who they are and what they want. Honestly, it’s getting really annoying having to keep telling them this.

Just got a couple of calls from this number, one about two hours ago and another one about five minutes back. Like others mentioned, the bloke said he was from Marks and Spencer and asked if he was speaking to me, gave my postcode right, then wanted to know if I was over 51. I told him if he’s really from M&S, he should already know that. What freaked me out was I’d just changed my M&S account password yesterday, so I wondered if the call was linked. Watch out for this one.

A call came through from someone with a thick accent, greeting me rather suspiciously. When I responded in the affirmative, he quickly reassured me that he wasn't trying to peddle anything.
