Somebody rang me saying they were Virgin Media and that my internet had been hacked. They insisted on remote access to my PC to fix it. When I asked for proof they were legit VM employees, they wouldn't give me anything. I ended the call and phoned Virgin Media using their official number. They said no issues with my service at all. BEWARE and never allow these folks to access your devices!
