I too called after hours, and the message I received was in an English accent. However, it failed to provide any information about their identity or their opening hours. All I got was a rather curt notification saying, "The office is now closed, please call back later." Hardly the epitome of professionalism, is it!

Over the past three days, my daughter, who resides in Yorkshire, has been receiving calls around 8 a.m. every morning. Curious, I decided to return the call, only to be met with an unexpected response. Instead of the usual Scottish woman's voice warmly thanking me for calling Yorkshire Bank, cautioning me against sharing my four-digit PIN, and mentioning that all calls were recorded, I heard what seemed like the remnants of an antiquated office setup. A foreign-sounding woman attempted to mimic a Yorkshire accent, but she was incredibly evasive. When I pressed her for any sort of information regarding the purpose of these calls, even in a broad sense, she firmly refused to assist. When I followed up at the local branch, they clarified that their communications to clients typically originate from numbers beginning with 03.
