Someone with a thick accent, barely speaking English, calling themselves Barclaycard. I just hung up straight away. The call quality was awful too - sounded like a VoIP call routed from Bangladesh through Leeds or something. Total rubbish!

Got a call around 9.25 in the morning, no one said a word, so I reckoned it was probably some scam. These annoying calls kicked off after a phone call from a company named Marshall. It was right when I was having my tea, and I told them I wasn’t interested in their service - which was supposed to stop nuisance calls, funny enough. Didn’t appreciate the caller’s nosy questions or their rude tone. I’m always wary of cold callers, treat them like a red flag straight away.
