When I contacted their main office and proposed to complete the payment, they returned my call using this secure number, which, as it turns out, is part of their safeguarded payment system.

I can assure you, this is absolutely NOT a scam-it's a legitimate call from Everest. I had arranged for them to ring me regarding a stage payment that is required upon delivery of my conservatory roof. I unfortunately missed their call, which originated from this number. When I attempted to return the call, I discovered that it’s a secure line and they requested my ID number, which I obviously didn't possess. However, it was all easily sorted when I reached out to their main office on 0844 8922531, the number listed in the correspondence regarding my upcoming payment. So, just to clarify, there’s no scam here; it’s a proper Everest call concerning the payment for services you’ve requested!
