9 yearsEvery day I get at least three calls from people pretending to be Bajaj Finance. It's honestly so annoying!Bajaj Finance10 yearsTo Whom It May Concern, I recently received a rather alarming call from an individual purporting to be associated with Teez Hazari Court (number: 8459117543). This person had the audacity to inform me that there’s an active case against my name, insisting that I must appear in court tomorrow or face arrest. They claimed that I had been sent legal notices on two occasions, which I never received. I was utterly taken aback, especially as I was engaged in an important meeting with a client at the time. The caller instructed me to get in touch with one Mr Avinash (Government Advocate, 7827524848) regarding the supposed case. They assured me that they would pause my file for ten minutes while I sought clarification from Mr Avinash. When I reached out, he was exceedingly aggressive, informing me that there was a recovery demand of Rs. 35,000 linked to my name. He then proposed that if I wired Rs. 3,000 to JK Bank, the matter could be resolved. I questioned this, pointing out that I had received no formal notice or bill pertaining to this claim. Frankly, all I wanted was a refund for a dongle that they sold to me and which stopped functioning two months after my purchase; they vanished, leaving me out of pocket. Mr Avinash then resorted to threats, viciously stating that I would be hearing from the police and promptly ended the call. It’s astounding that companies can resort to such intimidation tactics. I only sought a refund for the faulty dongle, but they brushed off my complaint, claiming it was not their concern. In my opinion, they are the ones in the wrong and owe me restitution, not the other way around. I firmly believe that action should be taken against this sort of behaviour. Tata Docomo should be better than to engage in such shabby practices.TeezHazariCourtAvinashJK BankTata Docomo10 yearsA mate of ours has been getting the same phone call repeatedly, so he reached out to S. She requested that I get in touch with Lawyer V.K. Saxena at 09311839168. If I'm honest, I doubt that informing the authorities will make much difference. These individuals are likely to just switch numbers and carry on with their dubious activities. It’s crucial that these offenders face consequences for their threatening behaviour.Vinay Sharma10 yearsEarlier today, my dad received a call from a Delhi number that seemed rather ordinary at first. However, the caller claimed there was a fraud case involving me dating back to 2011. He even recited our address and other personal details accurately, which was quite unsettling. After that, she gave us a bell, insisting we needed to have a chat with a lawyer named S K Rathore. However, I discovered that S K’s phone was switched off at that time. Just after, the same bloke called us again, asking if we’d been in touch with S K, to which we replied that the phone was off. Then I heard her speaking to someone else on the line, advising me to call back, suggesting that S K was close by. Eventually, S K got back to us, claiming we owed a fine of £18,000.
