I've received three calls from this number today, didn’t pick up any of them, and there were no voicemail messages left. Over the last couple of days, the total count of calls from this number has hit around fifteen. I always ignore calls from numbers I don't recognise!

Received a call from this number but chose not to answer. They didn’t leave a voicemail either. Has anyone else experienced this? Any thoughts on who it might be?

I've been getting an incessant barrage of calls from this number, ringing me a staggering eight times a day for the last week or so. I answered once, but as soon as I did, the line went silent, so I've since given up trying to respond. I reached out to T-Mobile, hoping they might have some way to block it, but no luck there. It's frustrating! I even signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, but it turns out that this number falls outside their jurisdiction since it doesn't register as a traditional nuisance call. Apparently, it's linked to a landline in Leeds, which is just brilliant!

I keep getting calls from this number multiple times a day, and they never leave a message. Could it possibly be Money Supermarket? I registered with them quite some time ago, but I'm not certain. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Earlier today, we received yet another three calls (making it roughly twenty overall). So, we decided to ring them back using our office landline. Turns out, it’s a company called freeupgrades.co.uk. They do provide an option to remove your number from their call list, but you can only do it using the number you're calling from. Hence, if you ring from your landline, it’ll only take that number off their records, not your mobile one. Hope this proves helpful, as these persistent callers have been quite a nuisance for us.

Earlier today, we received yet another three calls, bringing the grand total to around twenty! So, we decided to ring them back using our office landline. As it turns out, the number belongs to a company called freeupgrades.co.uk. They offer a way to remove yourself from their calling list, but it only works with the number you’re dialling from. This means if you use your landline, it will register that number instead of your mobile one. I hope this information is helpful, as these repeated calls have been rather bothersome for us!

I've recently experienced the same thing! I had about four missed calls earlier today, and it happened again the other day. Every time I try to call back, it only rings once before cutting off completely. I really hope this isn’t a scam, as I'm rather concerned that calling back might end up costing me a tenner a minute!

I've had a similar run-in to what many others seem to be facing. We receive about three calls daily without a single voicemail left behind. It seems to be the case even on Saturdays, but mercifully not on Sundays. A big shout-out to SN for sharing the details about blocking these nuisances and DAN for his insights! Has anyone tried reaching out on their mobile to get themselves removed from the list? I’m curious if it was T cell that handed over their particulars.

Well, we were rather foolish to answer the call from that number, it turned out to be Freeupgrade, and they’ve managed to rope us into a contract with Three Mobile. They made all sorts of claims about it being the top choice for reception in our locality, but what a pack of lies that turned out to be! We can barely use our phones at home or in numerous other spots because the signal is absolutely dreadful - it keeps reverting to emergency calls only. Is there anyone who can shed some light on how we might wriggle our way out of this 18-month contract?

How daft we were to answer that call from that number! It turned out to be FreeUpgrade, and what a right con it is! They’ve tricked us into signing up for a contract with Three, claiming it’s the best network for signal quality in our neck of the woods - talk about a fib! We’ve been struggling to use our mobile phone at home and in various spots because the reception is horrendous; it barely works, flipping to emergency calls only. Can anyone advise us on how we might wriggle out of this 18-month contract?
