On the afternoon of 22nd Sept 2020, I got a call in Plymouth but decided to just block it straight away, figured it was probably some kind of scam!

It sounded like a telemarketer to me since the person was trying to sell kitchen gadgets. Not sure if it was a scam or a genuine call, but I wasn’t interested at all. I just said no thanks, and they simply said alright and hung up.

Before 9 in the morning, I got a call. When I tried ringing back, it went straight to an answerphone saying something like "this number isn't recognised". Strange.

So, some bloke rang me up saying he was from a charity and asked if I wanted to give some money. I told him no and hung up. It’s not that I don’t support charities, but I don’t trust giving money over the phone or internet - too worried it might be dodgy. I prefer giving to local causes in person, feels safer that way.
