I didn’t pick up but I heard the voicemail from someone saying they were with HSBC and it had something to do with an Avon Guild account.

Someone rang me claiming they had info about a crash I was supposedly involved in, saying it wasn’t my fault. Obviously, I’ve never been in any accident, so it makes no sense.

This 01131649096 has rang me loads of times but never dropped a voicemail. My caller ID shows it as a 0345 number, which was confusing. I got fed up with the constant missed calls and used 1471 to check the actual number, and it was the one above. Feels dodgy to me that they’re masking their true number like that. Bit sus, if you ask me!

Received an unexpected phone call from this number. I’m not familiar with it at all and it’s not one I’ve encountered previously.

I received a missed call on my mobile this morning from this particular number. When I attempted to ring it back, I was met with a recorded message stating, "You have dialled an incorrect number. Please verify the number and try again." So, I thought I'd give it a shot from my landline, starting off with the 141 prefix to keep my number private. The call connected, but it just kept ringing indefinitely. A few minutes later, I tried again without the 141 prefix, only to hear, "We’re sorry, the number you’re trying to reach does not exist. Please check the number and try again." I had one more go with the 141 prefix, but this time it didn't even ring and simply delivered the same message as before! Honestly, I'm baffled by this situation, so I'll be adding the number to my 'Spam' list, just in case it's a dodgy scammer trying their luck!
