Today I got a call from someone claiming to be with an Insulation Advice group. They wouldn’t reveal which firm they were with but I did fill out some sort of form on Facebook not long ago. The caller asked if I’d used the government scheme for loft insulation, but I told them I couldn’t since I live on the ground floor. Then, they just hung up on me. I checked the number by dialling 1471, it came up as 01131324003, but when I tried ringing back, the number didn’t seem to exist. Now I’m a bit worried that they might have some of my info and could try to scam me.
