Got a call from 0113 0928796 saying they were from my internet provider, but it was a total scam. They couldn’t even name my actual supplier. They rang me yesterday too, this time from 01650 223939, warning me about "illegal activities" on my account and threatening to cut off my connection. I’ve reported both numbers to BT and Action Fraud. Even though the numbers look like UK landlines, I'm pretty sure it’s just to hide where the call’s really coming from - probably India. Stay careful out there!
