Got a call from someone claiming to be with an energy audit company, asking if I owned the house. I said yes, but then the line just dropped. When I called back, it turned out I’d got the wrong number. I’m worried they might’ve recorded my “yes” to use it somehow, so I’m marking this as a possible scam.

Some guy, sounded like a bloke in his thirties with a typical English accent, called me and said he was “Chris, the energy advisor for your local postcode.” He asked if I was the owner of the house at that address. I replied with, “Which address are you talking about then?” and after that, Chris just hung up on me. My landline didn’t ring in the usual way either, it was weird but hard to describe. I can’t believe he was daft enough to not hide his phone number when he called!
