I told her I wasn’t interested and wished her a nice day before hanging up, but she kept going on even after I’d put the phone down.7 yearsgot a call from a woman selling some fancy italian food stuff. she wasn’t easy to understand and didn’t sound italian at all. right off the bat i said i wasn’t interested in buying anything from a cold call, and no way was i sharing my address. she still wanted me to listen to her spiel about the products, then got annoyed when i stuck to my guns and said no. honestly, best to just end the call straight away with these sorts of calls.7 yearswhat a hassle, another scam call just now.........7 yearsI had an unknown number ring my landline recently, but I just let it go straight to voicemail. Of course, there was no message left. Curious, I tried calling back seconds later, only to find the phone company said the number wasn't recognised at all. So, no prize for guessing - it’s definitely a scam. They probably try some rubbish about your computer having a problem or something similar. Whenever I’ve picked up before, I tell them to wait a minute while I turn on my voice recorder so I can record the chat and send it to the Telephone Preference Service.
