I’ve received about five calls from this number, but every time I pick up, I just hit the voicemail. It appears that if you disable the voicemail, the calls cease, which is rather bothersome. It’s quite irritating, especially when I’ve just finished a night shift and am attempting to catch some much-needed sleep.

Would you believe that in the past month alone, my answer machine has logged a staggering 69 calls from various cold callers plaguing my home phone? It's become utterly intolerable, to the point that I've had enough and decided to disconnect it altogether. These persistent nuisances have truly turned my life upside down!

He kept pushing me to verify my info, but I wasn’t having it and ended up just hanging up on him.

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming to be from ‘Telephone Preference Services Management’. They said they’d help block pesky calls, which is pretty funny considering. They already knew my name and postcode, but it was clear they were after cash, kept asking if I was paying for the phone line. When I told them I’m already signed up with TPS, they got all pushy - definitely a scam. Ended up hanging up while he was going off.

Got a call from a young guy named Mark who had an Indian accent, claiming to be from the Telephone Preference Service. He said he could prevent the annoying calls I’ve been getting. I told him I’d sort it out on the website myself and then ended the call. Definitely a scam.

Got a ring from this number earlier today. The bloke claimed he was with TPS, offering a service to cut down on nuisance calls (bit odd, innit?). He spoke with an Asian accent and kept saying he wanted to help me out. Then he started asking stuff about my age and the like. I told him straight away I don’t hand out personal details on the phone, and said if he could send me any info in writing I'd think about it. Ended the call there. Just so you know, I’m already signed up with TPS anyway.

They’ve been ringing non-stop tonight but I haven’t picked up once. I reckon they’re just trying to get me to answer so they can pitch some ‘stop nuisance calls’ service - probably to charge for it.
