Got a call from 0108721151, couldn’t really catch them well but they claimed to be from uswitch. I just told them to buzz off.

I picked up with a simple “hi” but there was nothing but silence. Just as I was about to end the call, a robotic female voice piped up with “thanks, goodbye”. I rang BT afterwards and they told me it was a scam, warning me to ignore any calls from numbers starting with 0108. Definitely recommend reporting these calls to your phone company - they’ll guide you on what to do.

My nan, who’s 88, got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent claiming he was from BT. The number was 01269 84989. Then, I picked up on another one from 01087 487451 and it was the same sort of thing. I told him to quit ringing us, but he said he’d keep ringing every minute. I’m well annoyed that even though my nan blocks the calls, they just keep coming from different numbers.

At about 1.15pm, I got a call that rang three times, but the caller hung up before I could pick up. So, I checked the last number with 1471, and it showed up as a strange number: 01087487451.
