5 yearsI got a call from a woman speaking over a lot of background noise, like a busy call centre. She said she was with BT broadband and that their system detected someone outside our house using our phone line for dodgy stuff. She asked if we used the internet for things like emails or shopping online. I said thanks and told her we'd check with our actual service provider (which isn’t BT, but the phone line is theirs).
