Just got a call asking for someone called Arthur Philips - is that some sort of fake name they always use? Seems like every suspicious caller wants to speak to an Arthur. The person on the other end sounded like they were from somewhere in the Far East and quickly hung up when I asked who they were. I've now signed up to the Telephone Preference Service, hopefully that'll help.

got a call from this number earlier today. They wanted to talk to the phone’s owner but my other half said i wasn’t free. When asked who it was, the bloke just said “nobody.” My partner then told him if it’s nobody, not to bother calling back and ended the call. Seems like a scam, probably trying to get personal info to share around. Definitely be wary with this one!
