Was waiting for a call, accidently answered the phone. An Asian bloke asked if I was so-and-so, then went on about unwanted calls. I said, "yeah, this one actually," then just hung up on him.

Got a call from some Indian call centre scammers, could hear someone in the back but they just hung up on me. I’ve totally caught them out before. All their people have Western names but are clearly Indian. When I asked if they had any employees with Indian names who were European or American, the woman got proper confused, had to check with her boss, then just cut me off with no reply. Honestly, they imagine everyone’s as daft as them!

Got a call from an Asian lady asking if I was getting any annoying calls. I said yeah, this one right now. She just said "Oh, shut up!" and ended the call. Strange behaviour!

I received a call from a rather high-pitched Asian-sounding voice claiming to be reaching out from some flat complex. I mentioned that I was on TPF, and just like that, she hung up on me!

Got two calls today with no one speaking on the other end. Very annoying.

Got a call from someone with a heavy Asian accent, saying they were from BT Openreach and that my router had to be reset. It was really noisy in the background like a busy call centre. I didn’t trust it and just ended the call. Later I looked it up and saw loads of people reporting the same scam online.

I received a rather dodgy call earlier with a lot of racket in the background, clearly a call centre overseas. An Asian chap was on the line, saying he was from BT Openreach and insisted my router required some sort of reset. I managed to jot down the number he provided - 0161 354 0957 - which seems to be plastered all over the web as a known spam number. They’ve previously posed as Microsoft or even offered 'accident support', but today’s ruse was BT Openreach. I promptly ended the call before they could spin any more tales.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent saying she's from BT Openreach. She said they were working on the network near me and wanted me to get on my computer so she could help boost my internet speed. I wasn’t convinced at all and just ended the call straight away.

I keep getting calls from this auto-dialler, but there's never anyone on the other end. Just the other day when I picked up, I saw the number shift right before I answered - from 0099999910 to 0612564718910. I'd never noticed it doing that before, like it's changing its ID mid-call. Sneaky trick, though still pretty annoying. I've blocked both numbers now, so hopefully that'll buy me some peace, at least until they switch to new ones.

Got a call from an Asian lady I didn’t want to speak to. I told her to block my number and to stop calling me.

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent saying he was from the TPS Call Blocker team (bit dodgy, right?). He asked if I was still getting those annoying calls. I told him, “Yeah, including the one I just got from you.” Then he tried to sell me some call blocking gadget for £79.99. I just said “Cheers, no thanks” and ended the call.

I received a call that seemed to be from a call centre regarding unsolicited or bothersome phone calls, which is rather odd as I haven’t had any such calls. The caller had a Western-sounding name, yet there was a distinct Indian accent. It felt like she was rather unsure about the conversation, as though my queries weren’t in her script. When I pressed her for the name of the company, she refused to divulge it. At that point, I decided to end the call.

This particular number incessantly rings my phone, and just after a brief pause, it cheerfully says 'Goodbye' before abruptly disconnecting.
