They rang me on 07/10/2018 as well and I’m with 02 too. Total scammers. They phoned me again today, this time the last two digits ended with 66. Absolute fraudsters. They come from a former Soviet state, but they’re not Russian. Looks like they’re Azeris or Chechens.

Got called loads of times on the 7th October. Never heard my phone ring even tho I was in North Wales where O2 has no signal. Just spotted an extra £27.13 on my O2 bill today. Spoke to O2 and they confirmed it’s a proper scam. I’m on the TPS as well but that didn’t stop these calls. O2 promised to refund the money. Honestly, it’s really worrying!

Got a call on my phone last Sunday. Worked out it was a scam but when I tried to block the number, I ended up calling back by mistake. Heard a woman say she wanted to speak about ---------- so I hung up straight away and blocked the number. Just looked at my O2 bill and they’ve charged me £1.67 for 14 seconds. Proper annoyed at myself for picking up in the first place.
