For the past three weeks, I've been getting messages from this Magen Foster on LinkedIn, claiming there's a job opportunity for me. She keeps saying she can't get hold of me, but I haven't missed any calls at all. Whenever I say I'm free to chat, I never actually get a ring back. It's a bit frustrating, honestly.

A man rang our office trying to get the mobile contacts of three people working here. He claimed he was on a public phone and about to catch a flight from South Australia. When I asked for his flight number, it turned out it wasn’t real. After a bit of me probing, he just ended the call.

This bloke claimed he was the managing director of Mace and said he was about to catch a flight. He asked me for our director’s mobile number as he didn’t have it saved and needed to ring him when he landed around 8:30pm. Then he started talking about needing to get hold of another colleague of mine too. I told him that the colleague was right there if he wanted to chat, but he brushed it off saying he was using a payphone at the airport and might get disconnected any second. That’s when I ended the call straight away!

so, i got this message on linkedin from a person called magen foster, saying a premium client wants to talk to me about my services. the message said something like, “been trying to contact you, one of our top clients in dubai is keen to chat. they also have a project in the uk. if you could send me your mobile and a good time to call, i can share more details. here’s my number 0097143731806. cheers.” bit suspicious really, but just thought I’d share.

I rang the office number to get hold of a few coworkers, but the bloke told me he had their mobiles yet his own phone was “off.” Kinda dodgy if you ask me.

Got a ring from a Dubai line, 0097143731806, and the bloke claimed there was a secret package waiting from Emirates, saying he was calling on behalf of DHL. He tried to get my mobile number, which seemed a bit dodgy to me since DHL usually doesn't do that. I ended up calling DHL myself, and they told me that number isn’t connected to them at all.

got a call from what said it was dhl, saying they had a package from british airways for me. the caller was using a dubai mobile number and asked for my phone number. i rang dhl to double check and they said they don’t usually do this, so i think it’s some kind of phishing scam.
