Somebody with the number 923341787384 rang me up at home saying I've won some kind of lottery. The caller spoke in a Punjabi dialect typical of Pakistan and claimed to be ringing from Toronto. When I told him I wasn’t interested in any lottery winnings and pointed out that it sounded more like he was calling from Pakistan, not Toronto, he just cut the call straight away. Just a heads up to watch out for these sorts of scams.

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent saying I’d won £80,000. He wouldn’t explain how I’d supposedly won it, just kept saying I had to pick it up at Barclays. I told him it was total rubbish and ended the call. Definitely a scam.

I got a phone call from some scammer in Abbotsford, Canada. They were telling me I needed to go to TD bank and deal with $80,000 or something like that. Sounds dodgy to me.

I think it was one of those dodgy call centres trying to scam me.

i got a call from a number that looked pakistani, he claimed he was ringing from bt and said i was a loyal customer who won £80,000. he told me to pop down to any barclays branch to collect it but first, i needed to send £300 through western union. i just laughed out loud and he hung up on me.
