I received a phone call from a man named Mark who claimed to be from Glasgow. However, it seemed quite unlikely. We do have caller ID, after all. He was asking for someone who hadn't lived here for over 11 years. Anyway, ignoring that, he proceeded to pitch me about cheaper electricity. However, I decided to take a different approach and asked him if he believed in Jesus and if he had been saved. I wanted to discuss this with him, but Mark promptly ended the call.

In the month of July in 2014, I received a call. At first, there was complete silence, followed by an individual with an Indian accent mispronouncing my name. This person then asked if I was associated with Southern Electric. My response was affirmative. However, when questioned about paying my bill through direct debit, I stated that I had not. Sensing my apprehension about providing personal information over the phone, he persisted in his questioning. Due to my discomfort, I decided to end the conversation by hanging up the phone.
