I ignored a call from this number on 28 July because I've been getting loads of scam calls recently. This one didn’t look like any UK number I’m used to, so I just let it go to voicemail. Anyone knows what kind of number this is? Seems dodgy to me.

I just ignored the call and there was no voicemail afterwards, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number.

I didn’t pick up and as soon as it went to voicemail they just ended the call. I’m guessing it’s like a call we got a few weeks ago where they left a message warning that my internet would be disconnected within a day. Numbers like this keep ringing us. Actually, a similar one called about two hours before but didn’t leave any sort of message.

I reckon cold calls ought to be banned. I always ignore calls from numbers I don’t know. When I saw the number 0090904 pop up, there was no way I was picking up. It’s all blocked now, along with loads of other dodgy numbers that keep ringing me!

Got a voicemail from some lot saying they’d been trying to reach me and that my internet would get cut off within a day if I didn’t ring back to sort out my IP and router settings. Yeah, right, like I’d fall for that!

They rang me again this morning, for the second time! This time the caller said my IP address was being hacked from different countries. They said they were from BT in London, but I asked for my account number and they just hung up on me.

Got a call from a robotic female voice saying my internet would be disconnected in 24 hours because my IP is apparently showing up in multiple countries. She was pushing a new router and a fresh IP address. Funny thing is, this voice was completely different from another recorded call I got earlier today. So yeah, at least a couple of these 'criminals are using your IP' scams going around. They use bogus phone numbers too, and I'm guessing the websites they mention are dodgy as well if you even look them up.

i got a call from some electronic voice claiming to be from my broadband company’s tech support saying my internet was gonna get cut off unless i pressed 1 to chat with a person. total scam! i looked it up on google and apparently if you pick up it’s just a trick to scam you out of your money. defo a nuisance call!
