I've been getting calls from 88236970224 non-stop, but they just hang up every time. It's really starting to get on my nerves.

Avoid calling back any numbers beginning with +88. They charge about £5 for just three seconds, and the callers get a cut of that. When I spotted the scam, EE actually gave me a refund. Since then, I've blocked around 9 similar numbers on my phone to be safe.

I've had this number ring me several times and it just hangs up straight away. I already blocked one number that started with a W but now this one keeps buzzing in, no clue who it could be. Been called about 9 times so far, really annoying!

I wouldnt return their call, they charge you £5 just for 3 seconds and then they get a cut of it too. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.

I got in touch with my phone company, and they mentioned it seems linked to Jersey Telecom, but couldn't say exactly where in the world it's in use. Apparently, on Jersey Telecom's network, it pops up as an unknown user. I don’t really understand how they figured that out though.
