I'm from the Caribbean and noticed a missed call from +88233711394. Didn’t know the number at all. Thought about ringing back but looked it up first and found out that numbers starting with +882337 are usually linked to scams.

Every time I answer, it’s as if I’m speaking to myself - nobody’s there! Strangely, they persist with the calls. Given that I don’t recognise anyone from the Netherlands, I’ve decided to block the number.

+88233719040 kept ringing me up late at night, like three times weekly. I never have my mobile number linked to my name, plus I get a new one every year. Recently, I began using a new app called t####er. These calls on the phone are definitely some sort of scam.

I wouldn’t pick up if I were you. Just block it as soon as it rings. They want you to call them back so they can drain your cash. Totally dodgy and risky, could be a scam.

Best not to answer. Got a missed call from this number and when I called back, I ended up with a bill of about £15 from my phone company. Definitely a dumb mistake on my part to ring back. :(
